School Improvement Goals for Saddle Mountain Intermediate School

Reading:

Improve SMI students’ knowledge and skills in reading as measured by a 25% increase in students meeting standard in grade level unit assessments and by 61.5% of all grade four SMI students meeting or exceeding state reading requirements as measured by the WASL in school year 2004-2005.

Math:

Improve SMI students’ knowledge and skills in mathematics as measured by a 25% increase in students meeting standard in grade level unit assessments and by 41.9% of all grade four SMI students meeting or exceeding state math requirements as measured by the WASL in school year 2004-2005.

Collaboration:

Increase effective collaboration and teamwork practices at SMI to a level of 100% in the “Almost Always True” or “Often True” levels as measured by the Educational Organization Performance Profile (EOPP) for school year 2004-2005.
