We’re excited to announce the promotion of our current SRO, Alex Zesati to Interim Chief of Police for the City of Mattawa. Alex has served WSD for the past 4 years and will no doubt do an outstanding job for the community of Mattawa in his new role!
Officer Baltazar Avalos will begin serving as our new WSD SRO on Monday, February 26. Over the past year, he has spent time on our campus helping at various events and filling-in for the SRO when needed. During the next week, Chief Zesati will be helping transition Officer Avalos into his new role. In addition, the Chief will be bringing Officer Avalos throughout the district next week introducing him to students & staff. 👋🎉
