Yakima Training Center & PNWU Field Trip
Attention GEAR UP Students!
If you are planning on joining us to the Yakima Training Center and PNWU field trip on Friday September 23rd, completed permission packets must be turned in today by 2:45pm.
Next week is the start of National GEAR-UP week! All week there will be different activities in the library during both lunches with fun incentives for our students!!!!
Great Project Based Learning today in Honors World History class They did a Renaissance Art using AVID Strategies help prepare for the presentation! Way to GO Students and THANK YOU to Collier for creating such an engaging and fun learning environment.

Health Curriculum and Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Parent Night
Wednesday, September 7th at 5:30 pm in the High School Library there will be a presentation going over the Health and Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Curriculum. The teacher will be covering all the topics that are being taught in the Health Class. Again, this presentation will happen on Wednesday, September 7th at 5:30 in the High School Library

Over the summer I saw something really cool from Jostens that would provide you with lots of FREE JOSTENS STUFF for your senior year! Not to mention, it will build some real life skills that you can put on your resume while building your social media following with your friends and your school community!!

Several of our staff and administrators had the amazing opportunity to attend Avid’s 2022 Summer Institute in Anaheim, California. We are so excited to bring back what we learned to share with staff and students for this coming school year. #WeareWahluke
We have had some fun stuff happening this summer! Our FBLA students had the amazing opportunity to compete at Nationals in Chicago! We are incredibly proud of all their hard work!
The cheer squad will be fundraising this Friday at Memorial Hund Park, Mattawa, WA, which is part of the Movies in the Park community night. Come on by and get some Hawaiian shaved ice 🍧 and some Italian Sodas! Hope to see y’all there!
