Wrestling Shout Out to our fabulous Lady Warriors!
- Angela Santiago has been doing amazing in wrestling. She has an undefeated season so far.
-Jazmin Mercado is a Freshman and has had some tough matches but has not missed one practice since November 15, which is incredible.
- Josie Salazar has an amazing spirit and has had some incredible matches.
If you have any girl wrestlers in your class, or see them in the community, give them a shout out-they have all been working incredibly hard.
And a shout out to Mr. Verhy for attending the event in Ellensburg last night! You Rock!

We are having a Saturday school on 1/15, 1/22, and 1/29 for all students from 10am to 2pm in the High school Library. Food will be provided, there will be a raffle at the end where students that participate will have the opportunity to win a ChromeBook.

Team collaboration is very important, and all WHS Knowledge Bowl members are active and gearing up for their first meet will be January 26th at West Valley High School (Yakima, WA). The kids are really pumped and excited to show off their academic skills, and represent Wahluke!



Mrs. Moreno's Human Body System's class its full speed ahead and all hands on deck! Students are learning about the anatomy of the brain, and are using the Anatomage table, clay and modeling, and curriculum to round out their understanding.





Saddle Mountain Leadership came to visit us at WHS! They were able to get a grand tour from our very own leadership guru Mr. Dugan! We can't wait until these little leaders assume their leadership position within our halls! What a fun group!




This past weekend WSD and the Lions Club held our first ever Winter Wonderland at WHS. Students and families were able to enjoy photos with Santa, a winter themed photo booth, holiday treats, games and arts and crafts. Fun was had by all!
