WSD is partnering up with the Mattawa Community Medical Clinic and Columbia Basin Health Association to host a COVID-19c Vaccination Clinics. The vaccine clinic will be at the Wahluke High School Commons. From 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM – No appointment is necessary. – Parents or guardians will need to be available for consent for students younger than 18. Please disregard our previous transportation announcement you may have received. WSD will still be able to pick up and drop off Students on all routes. To accommodate this, starting tomorrow – September 1st. Students on bus routes 3,4 and 6 will be picked up 30 minutes later and dropped off 1 hour later than our usual bussing schedule. Parents will have the option to pick up or drop off students. Please contact your building if you plan to transport your student. Our District is committed to being creative to find a solution to our district and region bus driver shortage so that all of our students receive transportation. Congratulations, Mrs. Ziegler Donna Ziegler was recognized on Thursday for 25 years of service to Wahluke School District. She was awarded a crystal apple statuette by WSD Superintendent Andy Harlow and Human Resources Director Liz Leitz at a special ceremony in her honor. We are grateful and proud to have had Mrs. Ziegler, as the Transportation Director in our district and offer our heartfelt congratulations to her in recognition of this service milestone. We would also like to share a special moment as Mrs. Leitz and Mrs.Ziegler completed their last WSD Bus Tour together, which is a tradition they started together.
