School counselors are leaders and advocates within their schools. They design and implement efforts to benefit students socially, emotionally, and academically. This can come in the form of lessons, group counseling, individual counseling, program leadership, behavior intervention planning, and college/career advisement. Not only do they plan an important role in supporting students, but parents and staff as well!
