The WSD has created this portal to help communicate and inform our staff and families as we traverse this pandemic and begin to get students back to campus. Please check back often for the latest information.

In every of the confirmed cases, we want to assure you that we are assisting in contact tracing and investigative work with Grant County Health District. We have experienced three confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our District.Two Mattawa Elementary Students and one Wahluke High School Student both were on campus during a contagious period. We are assisting in contact tracing and investigative work with Grant County Health District. October 14, 2021 – 5:00pm

GCHD is reporting 56 (PCR = 37, antigen = 19) additional Grant County resident cases of COVID-19 since our last update on October 13. Cases are from everywhere except Grand Coulee area, and Royal City. At the time of this report, 14 Grant County residents are hospitalized with COVID-19. Patients ages ranged from 30’s to 80’s. Mattawa has gained 3 cases since last reporting.
